Elf (Discharge Update)

Elf has been discharged, and is resting comfortably. He is on 3 medications for pain & inflammation, and will be on restricted activity for the next 8 weeks.

The staff and surgeon at Chesapeake Veterinary Surgical Specialists in Towson, Maryland has been amazing! We called so many places that were closed this week and not opening again until next week. CVSS was able to schedule our consultation for Wednesday, Elf stayed for surgery on Thursday, and here it is Friday, New Year's Eve, and he is already back at Humphrey House for Homeless Animals!

Our balance today was $945.00 after our initial deposit of $3,000.00. Thanks to our amazing supporters, the bill is now paid in full. 😍 We are so blessed at the outreach of support for our sweet little Elf.

Elf will have his sutures removed in 10 days, then follow-up X-rays in 8 weeks.

Stay tuned for updates as our little Elf heals. 💗

Stay safe and have a Happy New Year! 🎉🎉🎉
